Don’t you feel overwhelmed with “constant change”? New wars, environmental disasters, inflation, viruses, new gadgets, new terms of use, new programs we must learn, A.I. etc. Change is inevitable and an essential part of life but at the rate we are going, this whirlwind only ensures that at the end there is no real change at all. After years of feeling pressured and threatened that our lives are hanging by a thread that only gets thinner and thinner, a state of complete numbness and boredom takes over where no one really cares about anything anymore. “Uncomfortably numb” could be an alternative title.

This is what my new EP is about. It has three instrumental tunes and one mid tempo song with lyrics. Stylistically, it follows the blues rocking tradition of my previous work. Hopefully, it’s a little better sounding with maybe a little better guitar playing and songwriting. But rest assured, it’s the same old recipe without the boredom of constant change.
